Toch leuk om op deze manier te lezen wat zo'n post bij mensen teweeg brengt. Ik heb op mn slaapkamer ook veel illegaal, maar bij het draaien (voornamelijk met vinyl) doe ik een poging alles zo legaal mogelijk te doen. Maar, ik vraag me af, dat mocht het zo zijn dat ik gesnaaid wordt met illegale mp3's of CD-R's die illegale muziek bevatten, en ik heb ze misschien deels op radio538.nl of dance-tunes.com of freerecordshop.nl verkregen, hoe ze dat dan aanpakken? Hoe kan ik dan aantonen; ik heb dit nr (op internet) gekocht? Alle bankafschriften bewaren? Op deze manier is dit volgens mij namelijk ook niet te achterhalen.. Of is het draaien met legaal gedownloadde mp3's niet toegestaan? Zijn daar bij cd single's wel "public performance rechten" over betaald?

Tsja, en dan mn mening: Ik vind van de Buma (met name na het lezen van de post van Dré, over het legaal maken (in zoverre, hij heeft ze niet gedownload, maar van cd gehaald) van zijn gekopieerde mp3's)) echt heldere lijnen moet gaan aangeven over wat de regels zijn en hoe bepaalde dingen gebruikt moeten worden. Ik vind dat het nu een wildgroei aan onduidelijkheden is.

ROME - Een Italiaanse dj heeft een recordboete van 1,4 miljoen euro gekregen omdat hij illegaal muziekopnames gebruikte in een disco bij Rome. De politie nam bij de inval in de club vijfhonderd illegaal gekopieerde muziekvideo's en ruim 2000 MP3-muziekbestanden in beslag.

De politie meldde woensdag dat het een zeer bekende deejay betreft. Volgens een internationale organisatie van de muziekindustrie (IFPI) gaat het om de grootste boete ooit die aan een individu is opgelegd wegens illegaal kopiëren van muziek en het gebruik van wettelijk beschermde muziek in MP3-vorm.
